We decided it was time to start looking for a home and pretty quickly we found the one! After we saw this one we kept comparing every other house to it. Even though it needed TLC, it had four bedrooms, a 3 car (tandem) garage for extra storage, we love the neighborhood, it just felt right!

It needed sooo much work. But we like that in a house, we can make it whatever we want.

The pictures do not even do the disgustingness justice!

The walls and floors and everything were so gross. And we now need to start working on our landscaping (currently even the weeds have died).

We made multiple repairs, painted the whole house, put in all new flooring, updated the light fixtures, ect. It is beautiful. I will post the after pictures just as soon as I take them!

I was cleaning and working around the house and I hear Will say "Bye Mom, me leaving". So I quickly go to investigate since he can get through our child-proof front door easy peasy. I find him and he is on his motorcycle, slowly making his way to the front door. I ask him where he is going and of course, he say's "Grandma Papa house". I told him to have fun and that I would pick him up later.

Robby turned 30 this year and to celebrate we had a swim party and BBQ.

Robby got sparkler candles this year... I didn't want him to pass out having to blow out 30 candles :)

We ate good food thanks to Doug, swam and enjoyed the sun, played on the slip and slide, and had fun visiting!

The Fourth

We started Saturday July 3rd out with the church breakfast and parade. We decorated his scooter and he loved it!

Next we headed over to Bragg Woods for swimming and lunch with friends and family.

On Sunday, the 4th, we went to the Walters for a yummy BBQ and swimming.

About a week ago Will realized that he can just get out of his toddler bed, so I have had to deal with constantly putting him back in bed. Tonight he told me "Me no night night, play Mommy and Sissy" I tried to convince him that I was just going to feed Molly and then go to bed myself, but he wasn't having it. After yelling at me for a few minutes with no response he came out into the living room. So I told him he better not leave his room again. He must have been able to tell I was serious because I didn't hear a peep after that.

A half hour later...

I am walking down the hall to put Molly in bed and check on Will and this is what I find,

I push on the door to go in and this is as far as it goes!

Of course his shoulder is in the way.

So I reach in and am able to move his shoulder out of the way without waking him up.

Atleast he didn't leave his room!

William is so much fun. He is energetic beyond belief, has a never ending imagination, an awesome sense of humor, and he is very affectionate towards his Mommy!

I cannot get enough of this little boy!!

Molly loves to sit and observe. She watches us play all day and loves when Mommy plays with her. Molly does not like loud yells (Will has a tendency to scream "Hi Sissy" while standing right next to her, often times when she is asleep), or when people play too rough with her (Will and Daddy are both known for this). Otherwise she is a very easy going happy baby.

I love Molly more each day and enjoy watching as her personality comes out!

Molly also does not like Daddy's scratchy kisses, but that does not stop him from giving them to her!

Trip to the Beach!!!

Andy, Mariah, Will, Molly, and I took a much needed trip to the beach on May 5th. We went to Stinson Beach. We had such a fun day playing in the sand, chasing waves, and running up and down the hill to the ocean.

Molly stayed in our beach tent the whole day, it was too windy for her.

Molly was such a trooper. It was a long car ride and then she just had to stay bundled all day, but despite all of that she was still such a good baby! (I am super lucky that both my babies have been so good!)

Robby and our friend Brian Cooley went on a quick hiking trip to Point Reyes as a last get away before Robby starts his new job! It is such a beautiful hike and I was jealous that I was not able to go along.

Robby's Half Dome Trip summer 09'

Its a long trip to the top with spectacular views of waterfalls and other sites. There was also a long line to the summit.

Well worth the wait, the views from the top are aaaaamazing!! and the answer is yes, there is reception up there.

This is called the diving board, best spot on Half Dome. Yosemite Valley below.

It was such a long drive to the camp ground. I got sick and Will was silly!

Will and Edmund had so much fun playing together over the weekend.

The Cooley's have a rino and Will was in love instantly. We went on drives all around, when we weren't on a drive he would just sit and play in it!

Will is an outside boy. He had so much fun playing, exploring, and getting dirty. He thought it was the greatest thing that we stayed outside all day and that he went to sleep looking at the stars!

This year was so much fun. After a few minutes of visiting and catching up with friends, Bruce gathered us all together and a skydiver jumped and landed at his house. It was so much fan and the kids all thought it was the best!

Working Hard

Rob, Gary, David, and Will got to work. Soon enough our shed was done! It is beautiful and big! We now have room for all of our stuff. It is wonderful... good job boys!

Rob and Gary always have a lot of fun while getting work done. Gary is so great and does such good work.

Here is the finished project... a new shed, grass, and partial fence!

Will's birthday was supposed to be perfect. I had made all of the preparations to be sure that it would be a great day. Will had barely recovered from croup in time for his birthday, but he was better, so it was sure to be a splendid day. Will woke up in a great mood that morning and danced when I sang Happy Birthday to him. We had all sorts of fun playing until he had to go down for his nap. I decorated the house and prepared the food while he was sleeping. Then it was finally time for his party. He slept forever cutting it pretty close, Rob and I were both amazed at how long he slept and the fact that he still seemed so tired. But we got dressed, ate lunch, and headed to Bragg Woods for he party.

Will spent some time socializing with his cousins and Uncle Tom before opening presents.

Will started getting upset while opening presents, he kept trying to lay down on me and was just not being himself. Robby gave him some love afterwards attempting to make him feel better.

Cake time came and Will was not so excited about it.

When that did not work everyone suggested that we try again while holding him. Who knew this would happen?!

Needless to say the party ended. Will got the flu. We went home and I took excellent care of him. He puked the rest of his birthday. So it did not go exactly as planned, but it was memorable!!!

We took a trip to Apple Hill for our 3 year anniversary.

It was a beautiful day which made for some nice pictures. Will saw his first trout in the Apple hill pond!

William Gregory was borm at 4:52am on February 16th, 2008. He was 7lbs, 11ounces and he was 20.5 inches long. He is the cutest boy in the world!

After only one week Will has to be readmitted to Kaiser for jaundice. It was terrible, we just had to let him sit under the lights all weekend long. He would get so sad and I could not do anything to make him feel better. All I wanted to do was hold my baby but all I cold do was hold onto his hand and talk to him which did seem to help. I do not ever want to have to do that again.
